Jaipur: School education minister Madan Dilawar said Wednesday that from now on, the date of construction will be written on school buildings along with the time period until when the building is safe for use.In a post on social media platform X, Dilawar said, “There will be no compromise on the safety of school buildings. The state govt has decided that now the date of construction and the maximum period of use will be clearly marked on every school building—whether it is new or old.”He added that inspection teams have been formed in all districts, and instructions given to collectors to start surveying schools. “Based on the findings of the survey, buildings that can be repaired will be repaired, and buildings that are unsafe for children will be demolished and new buildings will be constructed. The safety of every child is our primary responsibility,” said Dilawar.
