Jaipur: The Sagar Equestrian Sports Academy riders excelled at the Junior National Equestrian Championship 2025 held recently in New Delhi.The Jaipur-based academy bagged seven medals including 2 gold and 2 silver medals. The annual competition was held at the Army Polo and Riding Centre, Delhi Cantt from December 26, 2025 to January 6, 2026.Diya Sharma, Divjot Kaur, Siddarth Datta, Arjun Mallaya, Krishnansh Ghelot, Hanisha Gupta, Tanisha Gupta brought laurels to the region with their podium finish.Malani Equestrian Sports Academy’s Yuvraj Singh also got third place and grabbed bronze medal in the preliminary show jumping.Amitoj Singh of Horse Heaven Equestrian Sports Academy secured a team silver medal in the young rider show jumping event.The 12-day long meet attracted 300 participants nationwide. The competition spanned multiple categories including 10-12 years and 12-14 years (children), and 15-18 years and 18-21 years (junior/young rider), featuring both jumping and dressage events.President of the National Equestrian Federation Col Jagat Singh (Retd) was the chief guest and gave away the prizes. Sagar Equestrian Sports Academy founder and former RVC rider Captain Bhagirath Singh was also present on the occasion.
