Jaipur: The RUFC Winter Cup 2026, hosted by Rajasthan United Football Club (RUFC) concluded in spectacular fashion as RUFC U-16 were crowned champions after a nail-biting final against Bengaluru Soccer Schools.This landmark triumph came in the inaugural edition of the RUFC Winter Cup, which witnessed participation from eight teams, including two teams from outside the state, marking a significant milestone in RUFC’s journey to promote competitive youth football.The summit clash ended 5-5 at full time, with RUFC prevailing 5-4 on penalties to lift the coveted trophy.RUFC’s goals were scored by Reason, Vantea, Yaiphaba and Charan, along with an own goal forced under pressure. Bengaluru Soccer Schools mounted a strong challenge with Akash netting four goals and Atharv adding one, pushing the match into a thrilling shootout where RUFC showed greater composure.The grand final was graced by Roshni Tak, director, Rajasthan United Football Club, who attended as the chief guest.“RUFC is fully committed to expanding the Winter Cup in the years ahead. We aim to make this competition a cornerstone for youth development, creating more opportunities for young footballers to learn, compete and grow,” said Roshni Tak. Kamal Singh Saroha, the sporting director of RUFC added: “The boys showed incredible mental strength in a high-pressure final. Winning on penalties takes courage, and every player delivered.
