Jaipur: It is a moment of pride for sports enthusiasts in Rajasthan as Kuldeep Singh Mokawat has been selected to represent India at the World Sambo Beach Championship, scheduled to be held in Singapore from August 1 to 4, 2025. He will compete in the senior men’s 71-kg category.Kuldeep Singh secured his place in this prestigious international tournament through the India camp trials held in Kozhikode, Kerala. Notably, he is the only athlete from Rajasthan to represent the country in this four-day meet.It is worth mentioning that Kuldeep Singh Mokawat has previously won several medals for India in international competitions. In 2016, he made the nation proud by winning a bronze medal in Pencak Silat at the 5th Asian Beach Games held in Danang, Vietnam. This tournament is considered the largest sports event organised by the Asian Olympic Council after the Asian Games.Kuldeep’s achievement is not only a matter of pride for Rajasthan but for the entire nation.
