Jaipur: Rajasthan’s VRS Dushyant Sharma and Kartik have been selected in the Indian team for the first Asian Under-17 Youth Boys Handball Championship slated to be held from September 17 to 25 in Amman, Jordan.The Indian team reached Jordan on Sunday evening to participate in the week-long tournament. Yash Pratap Singh, honorary secretary of Rajasthan State Handball Association, said that VRS Dushyant Sharma from Rajasthan, who is part of the Indian team, is from Hanumangarh and Kartik is from Sri Ganganagar. Dushyant plays in the pivotal position and Karthik plays as goalkeeper. Ravi Kumar, Gauri Shankar Mishra and Nand Lal will be the coaches of the national squad.
