Jaipur: Officials from Rajasthan United FC met the Rajasthan chief minister Bajan Lal Sharma at the CM’s residence earlier on Wednesday to formally invite him to attend the club’s inaugural home match of the season which will be on March 13.The delegation was led by RUFC chairman Krishna Kumar Tak, along with Director Kamal Singh Saroha and Director Roshni Tak. They were accompanied by two international players from the Rajasthan United FC squad — Pedro Astray Lopez and Gerard Artigas. The meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s residence in Jaipur in the afternoon.During the meeting, the Rajasthan United FC representatives extended a formal invitation to the CM to attend the club’s first home match of the season, scheduled to take place at Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium, Jaipur against Namdhari Football Club. The club will mark the occasion with a special inaugural ceremony to celebrate the beginning of the home fixtures and the growing football culture in Rajasthan.The CM appreciated the club’s efforts in promoting and developing football in the state and extended his best wishes to the team for the upcoming season.
