Jaipur: The Rajasthan govt will set up a world-class Skill Hub at a cost of Rs 450 crore under Budget 2026–27, Additional Chief Secretary (Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship) Sandeep Verma said on Friday, adding that officials will visit Bhopal and Bhubaneswar in early April to study existing centres and adopt best practices.Verma said International Skilling and Overseas Placement Centres will be established in Jaipur and Bharatpur, with similar facilities planned across five to six rural districts to expand access. Future Skills Centres will also be launched in collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) Academy, with a list of colleges and 20–25 ITIs to be finalised soon. The state will roll out training from April 2026 for 7,000 tourist guides and 25,000 “Solar Didis” through the Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation in partnership with NSDC. A Skill Impact Bond framework will also be introduced to promote outcome-based training. tnn
