Radio-collared tiger nears village again

Jaipur: A radio-collared tiger from Ranthambore Tiger Reserve once again moved close to a village on the reserve’s periphery, creating panic among residents late Tuesday night.Forest officers said RBT 2407 was seen near Ram Singhpura village for nearly two hours. Villagers stepped out of their homes after spotting the animal, prompting forest dept and police to rush to the area.Officers said monitoring teams detected the tiger moving out from Jhoomar Bawdi forest area Tuesday night. They said the tiger had been under monitoring since it strayed into the same village about two weeks ago. tnn
