Jhunjhunu: A Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC) constable, Rajkumar Kantival, attacked his wife and son with a sword before dying by suicide Monday in district’s Indali village. The attack, reportedly stemming from marital discord, occurred around 4am. Kantival’s wife, Kavita Devthiya, an LDC in the panchayati raj department, and their six-year-old son sustained serious injuries. Kavita’s condition is critical and has a severed finger. She has been referred to Jaipur for further treatment.Following the attack, Kantival fled from the scene. Following a police search, his body was discovered three hours later near a railway track close to Chirawa agricultural market, where he jumped in front of a train. tnn
