Jaipur: Festive decorations for the Hindu New Year in Jaipur are now turning into a daily inconvenience for residents. At several key locations, including Tonk Road and Ridhi Sidhi Circle, signboards have been covered with posters and banners for over 10 days, making it difficult for people to navigate the city.Signboards play a crucial role in guiding both pedestrians and motorists, but when they are not visible, commuting becomes confusing and stressful. Visitors and new drivers, in particular, are struggling to find their way and often end up taking wrong turns.Residents say that while putting up banners during festivals is common, blocking public signage reflects negligence. With traffic already being a concern in many parts of the city, such obstructions are only adding to the chaos.Despite the issue persisting for more than 10 days, the Jaipur Municipal Corporation has not taken any action.
