Jaipur: Officials from the school education department said Sunday that more than 1.25 crore people participated in the mega parent teachers meeting (PTM) held in over 72,000 govt schools across the state Friday, setting a record. The department, in an official release, said the state broke the previous record held by Andhra Pradesh (52,34,863) for maximum participation in a statewide PTM.Secretary of school education, Krishna Kunal, said, “Mega PTM is not just a meeting, but an empowering platform where teachers and parents together share responsibility for the holistic development of the student.” tnn
