Jaipur: The Ethics Committee of the state Assembly Wednesday issued notices to three MLAs who allegedly accepted money in exchange for facilitating contracts under the MLA Local Area Development (MLA-LAD) fund.The committee, headed by Kailash Verma, summoned BJP MLA Revant Ram Danga, Congress MLA Anita Jatav, and Independent MLA Ritu Banawat on December 19. The Ethics Committee will conduct one-on-one questioning with the three MLAs.Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani referred this matter to the Ethics Committee on Sunday.Earlier, the state govt ordered a high-level probe into an alleged bribery scandal involving three MLAs after a sting operation showed them accepting money in exchange for facilitating contracts under the MLA Local Area Development (MLA-LAD) fund.
