Jaipur: Team V Polo swept aside Team RPC 8-4.5 in the opening match of the Rajasthan Tourism Polo Cup (6-goal) at the Rajasthan Polo Club Ground here on Wednesday.From the winning Team V Polo, Nimit Mehta displayed an outstanding performance by scoring 4 goals, while Vishal Singh Rathore notched up 3 goals. Mukesh Singh chipped in with a goal. Gonzalo Yanzoon was the fourth member of the side.On the other hand, Sidhant Singh slammed a couple of goals, while Savir Mehraj Goadara and Kuldeep Singh Rathore struck a goal apiece. Allan Shaun Michael also played for the RPC team, which also received a half goal advantage.The final match for the Rajasthan Tourism Polo Cup will be played on Sunday at the same venue.Under the Rajasthan Tourism Polo Cup, the next match will be played on February 26 at 4 pm at the Rajasthan Polo Club Ground between Team Jaipur and Team Sainte Mesme. Team Jaipur will feature Padmanabh Singh, Mirza Mohmmad Baig, Pratap Singh Kanota, and Lance Watson. Representing Team Sainte Mesme will be Hemant Kasana, Ashok Chandna, Dino Dhankhar, and Robert Strom.
