Jaipur: Railway board will implement a revised train timetable starting Jan 1, affecting 12 pairs of trains under the North Western Railway (NWR), including four pairs at Jaipur station. Changes in train timings will range from 45 minutes to nearly one-and-a-half hours.The decision was finalised during the recent All India Timetable Committee meeting in Jaipur. Major services like Vande Bharat, Double Decker, and Shatabdi Express between Jaipur and Delhi will remain unchanged.NWR’s chief public relations officer, Captain Shashi Kiran, said, “Ongoing infrastructure works, including track doubling and electrification, have improved operational speed and saved travel time. As a result, the timetable of several trains was revised.”The new timetable includes new trains, service extensions, increased trip frequencies, changes in train numbers, new stoppages, and revised arrival and departure timings at various stations. Notably, 61 trains will have new stoppages starting Jan 1.At Jaipur station, the Sabarmati–Agra Cantt Superfast Express will now arrive at 2:20am and depart at 3am. The Hisar–Jaipur Express will depart at 1:25 am instead of 12:30am. The Darbhanga–Madar Amrit Bharat Express will arrive at 11pm and depart after a 10-minute halt. Sabarmati–Gwalior Superfast will now arrive at 2:20am and depart at 2:30am, instead of 2:50 am.
