National Security Guard inspects Ajmer Dargah

Ajmer: A team from the National Security Guard (NSG) Thursday inspected premises of the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti here. The team also reviewed CCTV footage of the dargah premises and checked all gates and security measures. Local officials who assisted with the inspection said, “This is a routine protocol for security measures.”The NSG team, accompanied by local officials, inspected every part of the dargah. They visited the Mehfil Khana and areas where devotees sit and offer prayers. The team checked all entry and exit points, including Buland Darwaza, Payati Darwaza, and exits leading to Langarkhana Gali and Anderkot. They inspected Jhalara, Makbara, Ahaht-e-Noor, Sandali Masjid, and examined all the ways of entering and exiting the dargah premises.Dargah committee Nazim (manager), Bilal Khan, and additional district collector, Gajendra Singh Rathore, accompanied the NSG team and briefed them about the opening and closing times of the dargah. “The NSG team inquired about crowd management and maintaining law and order during rush hours,” said an official source, adding, “This is a regular protocol of NSG to check and map places in the country with high footfall.”
