Jaisalmer: A 20-year-old man and his 25-year-old sister-in-law, allegedly involved in a love affair, died by suicide in Hathla village under Bakhasar police station limits in Barmer district Sunday, police said.Police said the two left their homes late Saturday night without informing family members and went to a deserted spot about 1.5 km from the village. When relatives woke up on Sunday morning, they searched but could not find them.Around 11am, a goat herder spotted the bodies and alerted villagers and the families. Police, along with the SHO, reached the spot after receiving the information.An FSL team was called to the scene and evidence was collected. Police said a piece of paper with a couplet written on it was recovered from the young man’s pocket.Family members told police the man worked in farming. They said the woman had been married for five years, had no children, and that her husband was at home at the time of the incident.
