Jaipur: A 51-year-old man allegedly strangled his wife to death before hanging himself at their home in Jamdoli Tuesday. The bodies of the couple were found by their son, who told police that the two frequently fought over mutual suspicion. SHO Prahalad Narayan said the deceased were identified as Daudayal Sharma and Babita (46).“The couple’s son informed the police about the matter. He told us that he went to the temple for darshan. When he returned home, he found his mother lying on the floor and his father hanging from the ceiling fan,” said Prahlad Narayan. Police received information from the control room about two bodies lying inside a house. A team rushed to the spot and found the couple dead. The son opened the house for police and gave a statement that his parents often fought each other. Based on his report, police have registered an FIR and begun an investigation. Colony residents also told police that quarrels between the husband and wife were frequent.
