Jaipur: A 24-year-old man was killed and his wife injured in a road accident on Sikar Road while travelling to a centre for Patwari exam Sunday. SHO (Accident West) Raj Kiran said the victim, identified as Raghunath Gurjar of Shahpura near Jaipur, died after his bike collided with a truck in Bilonchi village. His wife, Mitthu Gurjar, sustained serious injuries. A preliminary inquiry suggests the bike rammed into a truck. “We have also spoken to local shopkeepers to ascertain how the accident occurred. Investigation is underway,” Kiran said. The couple was headed to Vidyadhar Nagar when the crash occurred. Mitthu was rushed to a nearby hospital in an ambulance. tnn
