Jaipur: A 40-year-old man from Dausa district was abducted, assaulted, and robbed after being offered a lift in Jaipur Thursday night.The assailants forced him to part with cash and transfer Rs 40,000 online before throwing him out of a moving car, leaving him seriously injured.Police said the incident took place around 8.30pm Thursday, for which the FIR was filed Friday. The victim, a resident of Bhandari village in Sikrai tehsil, was waiting for a bus on Chungi Agra Road in the Bassi police station area to go to Sikandra. A white Swift car stopped, and the men inside offered him a ride.On reaching Kanota, one of them spoke about needing a spare tyre. Soon after, four men in the car attacked the victim, snatched Rs 1,450 from his pocket, and began beating him brutally, targeting his stomach and private parts. They then took away his mobile phone, forced him to reveal his PhonePe password, and transferred Rs 40,000 to their accounts.Police said the attackers continued to assault him while demanding more money. Later, they pushed him out of the moving car and fled, causing a fracture in his right arm. Despite his injuries, Rajesh managed to report the incident.A senior police official said an FIR was registered and that teams are working to identify and arrest the accused. “The investigation is being carried out with seriousness, and arrests will follow soon,” said the official.
