Kota: In a heartwarming moment during an official tour, Education and Panchayati Raj minister Madan Dilawar, Monday briefly halted his convoy on the Baran–Chailabel Road after spotting a man herding goats—only to discover he was his childhood friend. The minister, who was on a day-long tour of Baran district, asked the convoy to stop and warmly greeted the man. The brief roadside interaction quickly turned emotional as the two recognised each other. Dilawar embraced him and introduced him to those present as his childhood friend, Harish Chandra Suman. Recalling their shared past, the minister said they had grown up together and once earned their livelihood by selling vegetables from village to village. He recalled how both would carry baskets on their heads and loudly call out to sell brinjals and other green vegetables. Harish Chandra confirmed the memories, saying they were of the same age, lived together in their younger days.TNN
