Churu: A young couple died after drowning in a water tank located at Raipura village Monday. When Bhanipura police station received information, they arrived at the scene, retrieved their bodies from the water tank and placed them in mortuary of sub-district govt hospital. Head constable Prahlad Singh, Bhanipura police station stated that a missing person’s report was filed Sunday, prompting action. Monday morning they received information that two bodies were floating in water tank near Raipura village. Investigation revealed that the couple jumped into the water tank and killed themselves.Bodies were identified as Mukesh Kumar Meghwal (25) and Sapna Kumari (22). Post-mortem was conducted and the bodies were handed over to their families. A report was filed for further investigation.
