Jhunjhunu: Two days after a violent gang war in Jhunjhunu’s Khirod, the district police has made substantial progress in the investigation of the double murder case involving the death of history-sheeter Krishnakant alias Golu Swami and criminal Sunil Dhaka. The police have arrested Ravindra Katewa, a key figure in the conflict, along with his three associates, and seized nine vehicles and two pistols linked to the crime. During a press conference at Gothra police station, SP Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay said, “We have solid evidence and confession, Ravindra committed the murder.” Upadhyay also said the police is committed to dismantling the notorious 0056 and 1657 gangs. The police have arrested several individuals involved in the plot, including Pintu Bhinchar alias Shooter, Rajusingh alias Raju Athwas, and Nandusingh alias Fauji. The investigation also uncovered that the rumor of Krishnakant alias Golu Swami shooting himself was fabricated by Katewa and his associates. Instead, it was revealed that Katewa and Shubhkaran Bajiya were responsible for Swami’s murder. tnn
