Jaipur: Jodhpur Football Academy will clash with Jhunjhunu in the summit clash of the Under-20 Men’s Rajasthan Football Championship in Chittorgarh on April 9 (Thursday).The quarterfinal matches were played in a thrilling fashion on Wednesday on the third day of the Rajasthan State U-20 Men’s Football Championship 2025-26. The four-day tournament is being organised by the District Football Association of Chittorgarh under the auspices of Rajasthan Football Association.All the players displayed impressive performances, winning the hearts of the spectators.Rajasthan Football Association secretary Dilip Singh Shekhawat said that Wednesday’s four quarterfinal matches began at 8am on Ground 1 with a match between Jodhpur and Jhunjhunu. After a drawn match throughout the stipulated time, Jhunjhunu won the penalty shootout to advance to the semifinals.Udaipur and Sri Ganganagar faced off in the second quarter-final but the match ended in a 0-0 draw. Udaipur then won the penalty shootout and stormed into the last-four stage.The third quarter-final saw a tough contest between Ajmer and Bhilwara, in which Bhilwara won 2-1. Kota and Jodhpur Academy fought in the fourth and last quarters. Jodhpur Academy secured their place in the semis by winning by a huge margin of 4-0.In the semi-final matches that followed, Jhunjhunu defeated Udaipur on penalty kicks to advance to the final. In the second semi-final, Jodhpur Academy won a close contest against Bhilwara, securing their place in the final.After these thrilling matches on the third day, all eyes are now on the final match. The final match between Jhunjhunu and Jodhpur Academy will be played on Thursday at 11am, where both teams will give their all for the title.
