Jaipur: The Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) Friday streamlined administrative processes to ease issuing essential civic documents such as birth and death certificates to citizens. From Monday, residents will no longer have to go to JMC headquarters to obtain these documents issued by govt hospitals. The facility will now be available across all 13 zonal offices of the corporation. Earlier, only certificates linked to private hospitals were processed at the respective zonal offices, while those from govt hospitals were issued solely from the headquarters. Under the new system, birth and death certificates for all cases, govt as well as private, will be issued by the zonal office under whose jurisdiction the hospital falls. tnn
