Jaipur: Jaipur Municipal Corporation-Heritage (JMC-H) councillors across party lines have opened a front against officials over pending works, alleged irregularities, and unauthorised constructions.On Wednesday, BJP councillors and committee chairpersons staged a protest inside the corporation premises, accusing officials of ignoring their demands and failing to act against scams in land allocation, gardens, parking, and electricity tenders. On Thursday, Congress councillors also reached the offices of acting mayor Kusum Yadav and commissioner Nidhi Patel, demanding urgent action against illegal constructions.Cong councillors raised the issue of unauthorised houses being built on govt land in Thather Colony of Amer ward 2, under Thather housing scheme. They alleged that land mafia were grabbing plots without auctions or permissions.
