Jaipur: The Jaipur Municipal Corporation Tuesday took action against six properties in the Murlipura zone for pending urban development tax dues, leading five defaulters to deposit Rs 20 lakh on the spot. One property was sealed during the drive.Property owners made payments through RTGS and cheques, also availing the ongoing rebate on interest and penalties.Murlipura zone deputy commissioner Pawan Kumar Sharma said the drive was aimed at recovering pending dues and ensuring compliance. A major action was taken against Prakash Public School on Nivaru Link Road, which was sealed over outstanding dues of more than Rs 10 lakh.
