Jaipur: In a meeting Thursday, the executive committee of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) gave post-facto approval for approximately Rs 9.5 crore spent on tent arrangements, barricading, and temporary electricity for the Army Day Parade held on Mahal Road on Jan 15. The approval was given to officially clear the expenses incurred by JDA for the event.Another key decision was to amend a state govt notification dated Oct 1, 2025, to increase JDA’s jurisdiction. This will allow the authority to bring more areas under its control. tnn
