Jaipur: The Govt Railway Police (GRP), Bikaner, investigating the murder of an Army jawan aboard the Sabarmati Express, is facing challenges in collecting independent eyewitness accounts. Since the incident took place when the train was moving and passed through various stations up to Sabarmati, police are trying to get the details of the passengers travelling in coach number S7. The incident occurred late Sunday night when jawan Jigar Kumar was allegedly stabbed to death by AC attendant Juber Memon (30) following an altercation over a blanket. Police later arrested the accused and recovered the blood-stained knife from the train. Despite several passengers being present in coach at the time, no one has come forward to provide a statement, leaving only the Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) as a key witness. tnn
