Jaipur: The city will host the first-ever PanIIT Rising Rajasthan Summit on Nov 1 at the Rajasthan International Centre, marking a significant step in establishing the state as a technology and innovation hub. Organised by PanIIT Alumni India, the summit will gather alumni from all 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), industry leaders, venture capitalists, and technology experts to discuss the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in India’s economic and social sectors.Chairman of PanIIT Alumni India, Prabhat Kumar, said the summit’s focus is on leveraging AI for development in healthcare, energy, sustainability, digital governance, mobility, and manufacturing. Rajasthan chief secretary Sudhansh Pant will be chief guest and the event is expected to be attended by former and present IIT students from India and abroad.The summit will showcase AI innovations, startup ideas, and research projects, aiming to foster collaboration between academia, industry, and government. PanIIT Alumni India, established in 2002, continues to promote technology-driven growth and entrepreneurship globally, with active chapters in countries like the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The event underscores Rajasthan’s emerging role in AI research and digital transformation, aligning with India’s vision for Viksit Bharat 2047.
