Jaipur: Shubham Gupta, Balbir Singh and Ashvini Sharma combined well to help Team Jaigarh defeat Team Nahargarh 8.5-6 in the opening match of the RPC Cup ll (out of hat) polo tournament at the Rajasthan Polo Club Ground here on Wednesday.While Shubham Gupta scored 3 goals, Balbir Singh and Ashvini Sharma slammed a brace each. Yogendra Singh swelled the tally with a goal. Team Jaigarh also had the advantage of half a goal.Team Nahargarh fought well but could not stop their opponents.Tarun Bilwal (3), Sidhant Singh (2) and Narendra Singh (1) were the goal scorers for them. Vigrahraj Singh Kothariya also played for the team.The second match of the tournament will be played on Thursday, March 26, from 5 pm onwards at the Rajasthan Polo Club Ground. This match will be played between Team Jaipur and Team Jaigarh. The final of the tournament will be played on Saturday, March 28.
