Jaipur: Jaipur District Badminton Association (JDBA) felicitated Abhinav Sharma and Krishna Nagar here recently.Abhinav Sharma was honoured for his selection for the 25th Summer Deaf Olympics to be held in Tokyo, Japan. Paralympian Krishna Nagar was feted for winning a bronze medal in the Para Badminton Championship held in the United Kingdom. On this occasion coach Yadavendra Singh, Jaipur District Badminton Association secretary Manoj Dasot and JDBA treasurer Atul Gupta were present. Both the shuttlers were handed over a cheque of Rs 11,000. On this occasion, Abhinav Sharma’s brother Aruni Sharma praised Abhinav’s three gurus — Yadavendra Singh, Atul Gupta and Manoj Dasot — and said that without their support and coaching, it would not have been possible for Abhinav to reach these heights. Krishna Nagar also praised Manoj Dasot and said that the training given by him helped him a lot in reaching the international level.
