Jaipur: A 45-year-old regional head of a private health insurance company was found hanging at his residence under Chitrakoot police station limits Thursday.Police said the incident came to light around 6pm when a neighbour alerted them after finding the house locked from inside and receiving no response. A suicide note recovered from the spot stated that he was taking the step on his own will, officials said. Police identified the deceased as Ajay Arora (45), a native of Udaipur. He was working with an insurance company and was posted in Jaipur for about a year. Arora was living alone in Sector-9 of Chitrakoot Nagar, while his wife and daughter stayed in Udaipur. Police said the neighbour visited Arora’s house for some work and grew suspicious after repeated knocks went unanswered. Upon receiving information, a police team reached the spot, entered the house and found Arora hanging from a noose made of a bedsheet. Police brought down the body, collected evidence from the scene and sent the body to Kanwatia Hospital mortuary for post-mortem. The contents of the suicide note suggest no foul play, though police said they are conducting further inquiry and recording statements of family members and acquaintances to ascertain the circumstances leading to the death.
