Jhunjhunu: Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh Tuesday visited the home of Sergeant Surendra Moga, who was martyred in Operation Sindoor on May 10, and met with his wife, mother, and children in Mehradasi village in Jhunjhunu district.The Air Chief Marshal arrived at the Jhunjhunu airstrip around 3pm on a special military aircraft, where he was welcomed by Air Force officers. He travelled by road to the ancestral home of the martyr in Mehradasi. There, he met with the martyr’s mother, wife, and children to express his condolences. He honoured the bravery and supreme sacrifice of Sergeant Moga in service to the nation, stating that his martyrdom was a matter of pride for the country and that his name would always be remembered.The Air Chief Marshal assured the family that the IAF stands with them at all times and will provide all possible assistance. He also blessed the children and wished them a bright future. The tribute event was attended by local representatives, villagers, and several military officers. The village resonated with slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Long Live the Martyr’ in honour of the fallen hero.
