Jaipur: To bring transparency to the lottery process for allotment of units in three housing schemes, Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has arranged for live streaming of the entire process. The lottery for the three housing schemes will be held together on July 2“We are going to organise the lottery for the three housing schemes – Ganga Vihar, Yamuna Vihar, and Saraswati Vihar – on July 2. For the first time, we will stream the entire process live. Applicants can watch the proceedings from their homes or any other place on our website,” said a JDA official.The civic body disclosed that they received 82,423 applications for the 765 plots of the three schemes. Of these, for the Ganga Vihar scheme, JDA received 24,175 applications for 233 plots. While for the Yamuna Vihar, the civic body received 19,291 applications for 232 plots, for Saraswati Vihar, 38,957 applications were made for 300 plots.“We will make the lottery process completely fair and transparent. Successful applicants will be informed through SMS. We are going to upload the results even on our website,” another JDA official stated.
