Jaipur: The District and Sessions Court was evacuated Wednesday after an email threatened to blow up the building with a bomb. The message claimed that an explosive was planted inside the court premises.DCP (west) Hanuman Prasad Meena said the court staff immediately informed the police control room after receiving the email. Police teams, along with the bomb disposal and dog squads, reached the spot and began a detailed search of the building, but nothing suspicious was found and police are treating it as another hoax mail. The court complex was vacated, and all visitors and staff were moved out as a precautionary measure. “All corners of the building are being checked thoroughly. The cyber team is examining the email to trace its origin and identify the sender”, Meena said.Officials said the search operation and forensic examination of the email continued till late evening. Investigation is being conducted from all possible angles.
