Jaipur: State govt Wednesday accepted the voluntary retirement of SMS Hospital neurosurgery professor Dr Achal Sharma, who applied for VRS in July 2025. He was retiring in 2029. Sharma was whistleblower in the 2024 fake NoC organ transplant scam. The govt later removed him as hospital superintendent for not informing the medical education department before contacting ACB. tnn
