Udaipur: A girl died Wednesday night in Bordi Kala village in Kotda area of Udaipur district after her scarf got entangled in a thresher belt while extracting wheat.Kotda SHO Rajesh Kumar Meena said Heena Khokariya, 17, resident of Bordi Kala, had gone to a neighbour’s house to help with wheat extraction using a thresher. During the process, her scarf got entangled in the thresher belt, severing her neck and killing her on the spot.Police reached the spot after being informed by villagers and took the body to the mortuary of Kotda govt hospital.At the time of the incident, her family members had gone to Gujarat for wheat harvesting. Police informed them about the tragedy. The postmortem will be conducted only after their arrival, the SHO said.According to information, Heena had appeared for her Class 11 exams this year.
