JAIPUR: As Jaipur is all set to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, the city traffic police have made an initial plan to maintain an easy flow of traffic. According to the blueprint, traffic movements will be restricted from early Wednesday on the stretch between the JDA Crossing to Trimurti Circle Crossing on JLN Marg.A senior traffic official said that from August 27, the movement of vehicles from Trimurti Circle to JDA Chauraha and Takhteshahi Road and Dharm Singh Circle towards Ganesh Temple will be prohibited.“We are going to divert the traffic on this stretch to parallel routes. Traffic on Bhawani Singh Marg will be allowed. But on reaching the JDA Circle on JLN Marg, these vehicles can take a right turn or move straight towards Shanti Path. No left turn towards the Trimurti Circle will be allowed,” stated a traffic official.Although most buses arriving from the Delhi/Agra sides now terminate at the Transport Nagar, traffic officials have still decided to divert movements of buses that will go to the Sindhi Camp bus terminal.Buses arriving from Delhi and heading towards Sindhi Camp will alight at VKI 14 from Chandwaji Cut and reach Sindhi Camp via Chaumu Tiraha, Panipech, Chinkara, Collectory Circle, and Khasa Kothi. They will take the same route.Buses coming and departing towards Agra will traverse from govt Hostel via govt Press, Chaumu House, 22 Godam Circle, Sahakar Marg, Laxmi Mandir, Gopalpura Chauraha, OTS Chauraha, Jhalana Road near Kendriya Vidyalaya via Jawahar Nagar Bypass, Rotary Circle, and TP Nagar. The traffic police have earmarked the premises of the Subodh College, university campus, stretch between Dharm Singh Circle to Moti Dungri Road (towards Sanganeri Gate), and Arogya Path for parking.“The diversions are initial plans. We will issue the final diversion plan by Tuesday,” a senior traffic official stated.
