Jhunjhunu: Dense fog covered several areas of Sikar, Jhunjhunu, and Churu districts Wednesday, intensifying the cold and affecting daily life. Visibility remained poor in areas such as Fatehpur, slowing traffic on highways as vehicles moved with headlights on even during the day.The minimum temperature recorded at Fatehpur Agricultural Research Centre in Sikar plunged to 1.7 degrees Celsius, marking a sharp drop of 6.3 degrees in 24 hours from Tuesday’s eight degrees, further worsening the cold conditions.
