The following details should be typed in the SMS — ECI and sent to 1950.The Chief Electoral Officer of Rajasthan, Naveen Mahajan, said that during SIR 8,935 new polling stations were created in the state which led to a change in the previous polling station and voter serial numbers of all the voters. “Therefore, for voters’ convenience now they can obtain information about the status of their name in the draft electoral roll in a simple, quick, and accessible manner. This service has been started by the Election Commission of India to enhance voter convenience and ensure transparency,” said Mahajan.Earlier this week, a team from Maharashtra’s election department was on a three-day visit to Rajasthan to study the innovations, technological improvements, and ground-level functioning being carried out in the state under SIR-2026.
