JAISALMER: The Army Commanders’ Conference will be held in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, from October 23 to 25, 2025. The conference will serve as a platform for the senior leadership of the Indian Army to review and assess the overall security situation and deliberate on key operational priorities to tackle emerging challenges.Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will chair the Raksha Mantri Session and deliver the keynote address. According to official sources, high-level preparations are underway in Jaisalmer to host the prestigious event. Singh will be on a two-day visit to Jaisalmer on October 23 and 24 to attend the conference.The conference will also include a presentation on the Indian Army’s focus for the Year of Reforms. Aligned with the Army’s goal of becoming an agile, adaptive, technologically enabled, and future-ready force, senior officers will hold detailed discussions with experts to introduce new methodologies for effective decision-making.A source said the defence minister will address the conference and inaugurate two new attractions — Shaurya Park and Cactus Park — at the Army War Museum in Jaisalmer. He will also launch a new Light and Sound Show at the museum in the evening.On the following day, Singh will visit the famous Longewala border area, where he will pay floral tributes to soldiers who laid down their lives in the wars fought between India and Pakistan during a wreath-laying ceremony. During his visit, the defence minister will also interact with soldiers to boost their morale and witness a military demonstration showcasing the Army’s operational capabilities.
