Jaipur: Incessant rainfall since Monday afternoon disrupted normal life in Jaipur, as several areas of the city were still waterlogged until late on Tuesday. Officials said, a few colonies across the city, including the area inside the compound of the city airport, remained waterlogged until late on Tuesday.District collector Jitendra Kumar Soni visited waterlogged areas Tuesday, met the affected people, gathered information about the situation, and communicated with the families. Soni was accompanied by the commissioners of JMC Greater, Gaurav Saini, and JMC Heritage, Nidhi Patel.“The situation in Jaipur on Tuesday is much better compared last year. There are a few problems in Brahmapuri area related to waterlogging,” Soni said. TNN
