Jaipur: The meteorological department Tuesday said that cold wave is likely to grip many parts of Rajasthan from Wednesday. Officials said that with mainly clear sky and active north-westerly winds, minimum temperatures are expected to fall further by up to 4°C. The cold wave is expected to affect several districts, particularly in Bikaner and Jaipur divisions, and may continue till Saturday. Met officials said that the influence of recent western disturbances has now ended, enabling a sharper decline in night temperatures. On Tuesday, Lunkaransar (Bikaner) recorded the lowest temperature at 4.7°C, while Jaipur saw a comparatively milder minimum of 14.8°C, which was 3.7°C above normal.
