CM approves disciplinary action against staff in 14 cases

Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Thursday approved disciplinary action against govt employees in 14 cases and gave prosecution sanction in two others. Additionally, punishment of withholding pension was given in four cases of retired officers.An official statement said, “Strict action is being continuously taken against personnel guilty of negligence, indiscipline, and corruption in matters related to public interest.”“While expeditiously disposing of pending prosecution approval cases, prosecution approval was granted in two cases. Similarly, in eight cases of disciplinary action against serving officers, it was decided to withhold annual salary increments. In another case, the appeal presented under Rule 34-CCA was rejected, and the previously awarded punishment was maintained as is. Meanwhile, in an appeal presented under CCA Rule 23, relief was granted by limiting it to censure,” the statement said.
