Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Friday approved the distribution of relief grants to farmers of six districts who lost Kharif crops due to excessive rainfall this year. The approval was given to distribute agricultural grants through SDRF to the affected farmers. For this, the proposal to declare 2,961 villages of 40 tehsils in six districts as distressed was approved. The grant will provide relief to more than 8 lakh farmers in Ajmer, Alwar, Jhunjhunu, Kota, Pali, and Banswara districts.
