Jaipur: In a significant boost to the state’s education infrastructure, the Centre has approved Rs 300 crore for the reconstruction of dilapidated school buildings across Rajasthan, the chief minister’s office (CMO) said Sunday. The funding, sanctioned by the ministry of education, aims to provide safer and more modern learning environments for students.Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the approval, calling it a major step toward strengthening the state’s education system. Sharma emphasised that developing a robust educational infrastructure remains a top priority for the state government. “Our objective is to ensure that every student gets access to a safe, modern, and inspiring educational environment, enabling them to pursue their dreams,” he said. Sharma said the funding would lead to qualitative improvements in the education sector. Under the PM’s leadership, the initiative would significantly enhance school facilities and create better opportunities for students, he said.
