Alwar: An eight-year-old boy named Yogesh Kumar was brutally attacked by a pack of stray dogs in Sangkhla village located in Bagad Tiraya police station area of Alwar district on Monday. The child suffered over 50 deep wounds across his body during the terrifying ordeal.According to family, Yogesh was returning home after playing with friends when he was suddenly surrounded by 8 to 10 stray dogs near home. For nearly five minutes, the pack mauled him, leaving him helpless despite his attempts to escape. The boy’s family said that by the time villagers arrived to rescue him, all parts of his body bore severe wounds like his neck, throat, cheeks, back and limbs.The villagers drove the dogs away and rushed the boy to Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital, where he is currently being treated. Primary medical officer (PMO) Sunil Chauhan said, “The child has sustained serious injuries and is currently under treatment.”
