Jaipur: PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasra posted an audio on ‘X’ and alleged that under the BJP govt, “commission counters” are operating openly. He alleged that in the Chirawa Panchayat Samiti of Jhunjhunu district, after falsely accusing and removing the Congress head, the BJP-appointed head, Rohitash Dhangar, himself admits (in an audio) that a commission of up to 30% is being taken to pass or clear bills.“At every level, from the head, VDO, engineer, XEN, to the accountant, commission-taking is rampant. The system of BJP corruption has spread so widely that commission ‘parchi’ are being issued everywhere. The taxpayers’ money is going into the pockets of the corrupt instead of being used for development projects,” he said.He said that the surprising thing is that even after evidence of corruption came to light, there is silence throughout the govt, from the chief minister to the chief secretary,” he added.Dotasra pointed out that BJP’s Kaman MLA Nauksham Chaudhary highlighted that Congress representatives were being targeted due to political malice. “Within 24 hours, the BJP govt echoed this sentiment and stifled democracy. Naemuddin Guddu, the head of the panchayat samiti in Ladpura (Kota), received justice from the court after a six-month legal battle, and was reinstated to his position. He was reinstated on August 20, but the BJP govt, intoxicated by power, suspended him again just 8 days later,” said Dotasra.“Within 8 days, the BJP govt fabricated charges, conducted an investigation, reached a conclusion, and issued a suspension order. Where is democracy? This is a complete violation of constitutional values. It clearly shows that the BJP neither cares for the Constitution nor the judiciary. The BJP govt is trampling democratic norms and acting arbitrarily,” he added.
