Jaipur: Two bike-borne youths allegedly harassed a woman on a city road here, with a video of the incident surfacing online and prompting police to launch a search for the accused.Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Rajarshi Raj Varma said the video, which went viral on social media, showed two youths on a motorcycle harassing a woman riding pillion on a bike taxi moving alongside them.Upon verification, the footage was found to be from ISKCON Road near New Sanganer Road. Police traced the bike taxi and obtained details from the company concerned.“The woman contacted in connection with the incident has not confirmed the matter so far and is currently out of Jaipur,” Varma said.Acting suo motu, police identified the suspects as Manraj Meena and Sudama Meena, residents of Tonk district, and launched a search to trace them. Legal action will follow their arrest, he added.The incident triggered political reactions, with the Congress alleging deterioration in law and order, while Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedam said overall crime had declined and policing had improved.
