Jaisalmer: Barmer cyber police, under a special operation named ‘Dharkar Bhar,’ arrested the primary accused, Sendhabhai, in connection with an online fraud case involving Rs 2,00,000. The arrest took place in Ahmedabad., Additional Superintendent of Police Jasaram Bose, and Circle Officer Ramesh Sharma. The operation was led by Cyber Station Officer Hanuwantsingh.According to SP Narendra Singh Meena, a case was registered at the cyber station on May 1. The complainant, Bhakhar Singh, a resident of Sura Jagir, reported that an unknown person hacked his mobile phone. Following the breach, the hackers withdrew a total of Rs 1,95,000 rupees from his bank account through multiple online transactions. A case was filed under the IT Act, and the investigation began immediately.Cyber station officer Hanuwant Singh and his team acted swiftly, securing records of the suspicious bank accounts involved in the fraud. They collected information about the account holders using technical support and intelligence gathering. Through this meticulous investigation, the accused, Sendhabhai, a resident of Thakurwas, Narol Police Station, Ahmedabad, was identified. The team quickly arrested him in Ahmedabad.Sendhabhai is currently being probed regarding his associates and any other cyber fraud cases in which he may have been involved. tnn
